A classroom in a high school. There is Andreas, who is thinking about the girl at the pool who walked toward him, looked him straight in the eyes – or was that just his imagination? There is Sofie, who only wants to be left alone. There is Pär, who can’t leave Sofie alone. There it Katja, with all her tortured animal pins, who’s ashamed that she’s ashamed of her big butt. There is Filip, who turns eighteen tomorrow and is in a state of panic – he has not got laid. And there is Joanna, who wants to stand on a rooftop and scream straight out.
Everybody wants to be liked. To have someone like them.
The school is like a gingerbread cookie mold – those who don’t fit have to pull in their arms and legs and shape themselves along the edges. Sometimes maybe even pull in their dreams. Sometimes maybe even their heart.
