Blog Moms and book club parents love Binta dansar (Binta Dances) and Lalo trummar (Lalo Plays the Drum). The books are very popular and take children by storm. In Babo Points, Aisha and Babo head out for an adventure in the woods. The new book about the happy family in the red house has been eagerly awaited!
Eva Susso has written yet another wonderfully rhythmic text; it is like a fast fun rap or jingle. The movement in the writing is contagious and makes everybody happy. It stays with you long after you read the book, and you remember your favorite phrases by heart.
Earlier, Eva Susso has written about middle sister Binta, in Binta dansar and about the oldest brother Lalo, in Lalo spelar trummor. Now it is time for big sister Aisha and little brother Babo in this wonderful four kid family. In this new story, Babo points his way into the woods. Because… well, he can’t talk, and besides, the pacifier is usually plugging up his mouth.
Aisha pushes Babo in the stroller, where he sits like a little king and directs with his little kid finger. The long, long road is the one he wants to take! Aisha trots along, and the dog and the hen trot behind. Using meetings with nice moose and cute wild boars, Eva Susso creates surprise adventures. Benjamin Chaud illustrates the luscious blueberry forest and all the wonderful things that belong in the moss, as though he has never done anything else!
But they are actually no more than a hundred meters from the house, situated by the edge of an ordinary village.
