Pella’s little brother, Niels, has been kidnapped.
Pella’s dad is married to Bettina, one of the richest women in Denmark. Together, they have Niels, the world’s cutest little brother, according to Pella. One day when Pella babysits Niels, a van drives up and two men with ski masks pull Niels into the car and disappear quickly. Soon, Pella and her family are contacted by the kidnappers. They demand five million euros in 200 and 500 euro bank notes. And they want Pella to deliver the money. Now it’s up to Pella to make sure Niels is returned to his family alive.
Exciting, scary, unpredictable, and with a large portion of humor. The three girl detectives are like no others in Swedish children’s literature. Short chapters with cliff-hangers make you want to keep reading!
