Staffan the giraffe can’t remember much of his childhood. His first memory is that he is sitting on a raft in the water. On the way to somewhere else. Staffan goes ashore on an island full of monkeys. He does everything he can to fit in, and he learns how to climb trees and eat bananas. It is fun, of course, but still he never feels really happy. He is always a bit… different.
One day it looks like the water is going to flood the island, and Staffan and his new friends realise that it can actually be quite good to be a little different!
• A new character from Sören and Anders!
• A subtle book about being different but good anyway!
• Lovely illustrations by Per Karlén.
