Twelve-year-old Tomas is bullied by two boys in his class, and he is rather lonely. They call him ‘Sherlock’ – Sherlock Holmes is Tomas’ great idol.
One day Tomas gets a letter with a request to spy on a man who is suspected of various crimes. A report is to be left every Monday in a particular book in the library, addressed to somebody called ‘Watson’. At first, Tomas thinks the bullies lie behind the request, but he soon realises that this is not the case.
