Mik's  story is an adventure novel and social drama in one: Without Pathos and sentimentality, in the characteristic style of the defiant challenge of his main character, the novel tells about Mik's search for safety and his enormous will to survive. The novel boasts with intelligent portrayed personalities, adventurous intermezzi and delightful descriptions of the landscape, last-mentioned also interesting for young readers."
